Product Description

Blood and Liver detoxifying, Apana Vata motivator, Anti Kapha. Amaltas is an important herb; as per Charaka Samhita, this is potent skin protector and anti pruritic, along with being a mild purgative. It is soft, heavy, unctuous in qualities; ensuring downward passage of toxins. The taste and Vipaka are sweet and Veerya is cold. It is anti Kapha Pitta due to its laxative Prabhava.
This is the best mild purgative; better than Haritaki or castor due to a pleasing taste, non habit forming and safer for a prolonged use as by Chronic Constipation patients. It is useful in Kushtha / all skin diseases, Vibandha / Constipation, Jvara / fevers, Hridroga/ Heart diseases, Pittasra / bleeding disorders, Udavarta / flatulence, and Shoola / colic. It also removes Ama and detoxifies the digestive tract.

One of the rarest products I have seen which is both pleasant in taste and healthy! Bought this product on a friend’s recommendation and surely I am loving Amaltas! It not only helps in keeping me fit but I am feeling quite healthy, ever since I have tried out Amaltas! Full 5 star for this wonderful Ayurveda medication!

A friend recommended this for a recurring skin condition. Been on Amaltas for 2 months now, and there’s definitely less itchiness. Have heard of its digestion related benefits too. I haven’t had any stomach trouble since, but that might take more time to know for sure 🙂 Good stuff overall.

Amaltas helped with my son’s constipation. Took a while to start showing results, but his overall digestion has been better over the past few weeks. Plus, for once he doesn’t complain about the taste, which is a big help. I’ve been reading up about other benefits of Amaltas as well. Seems like a good regular supplement. Would like to try it out myself.
